In 2013, I completed a Doctorate of Ministry (DMin) at Sioux Falls Seminary that deepens and expands my knowledge in counseling, especially in the areas of stress, trauma, grief, and attachment. My dissertation focuses on the decision-making process of women in crisis pregnancy as it relates to her attachment style. Attachment style is the way we think, feel, and act in response to stress.

In this safe and caring environment, I facilitate the healing process to help "move-on" in one's life. I integrate complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each person. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness practices. Attachment Theory and Emotionally-Focused treatment shape the relationship counseling. And, various inner healing methods can be used, as appropriate.
